The ingredients to winning blackjack

In order to win in blackjack we need the following ingredients:
1. A good table
2. Playing skills
3. Good money management
4. Betting strategy
I will cover playing skills in the near future.
Betting Strategy
A card counter will definitely bet differently than an ordinary player. Card counters lose big in vegas. Or they get kicked out if they are winning. Terrible ha? Been there done that.
Anyway, what a winning player needs to accomplish is to look like he or she is just "lucky". Hence I favor a progressive betting scheme. A good series of wins will do it. This is the very reason why "table selection" is critical to my system.

Oh yes you are now in Las Vegas. What a beautiful feeling. Checked in your room and out you to the blackjack tables. First let share you a way to manage your money. Say you have a budget of $600 for gambling. It would be best to divide up your money in a per session basis. In this case, You would divide your money in to 4 sessions - $150.00 each session per table. The idea is to stop the session ( leave the table ) when you lose 40 to 50 dollars or when the table goes really bad ( this will be another Blog about Bad tables ). Finding a playable table is not easy. It requires a relaxed mind and Patience and it is hard because the tables are always full or there are no players at all. I hate that..but hey we are the pro right?

How to find a playable table? That is all we are looking for folks!
Strategic position:
1. Do not play the dealer head to head.
2. Dont sit on a table with less than 2 players.
3. Do not sit to the left of any winning player ( I have reasons for that ).
4. Do not sit right next to the winning player ( sit to his right at least with one player in between.
What is a bad table?
First you need to watch the hands and the flow of cards.
The type of hands that come up will tell you if the table is not playable. Ok here are scenarios!
As a winning player, we need patience and some luck. I recommend watching tables one at a time without being noticeable. Just look stupid and look like someone who has no intention to play. Just watch innocently. Maybe carry a drink with you ( non alcoholic ). Hard to focus when you are under the influence. If you drink, dont play. There is always the next day.

Signs of a BAD TABLE
# 1 scenario > this is when the majority of the players are dealt busting hands. 12 to 16
Then the dealer flips one card showing a possible bust ( 2 to 6 ) assuming that the card on the hole is a ten. Youve seen this before right? Thank God you are just watching..lol
All players did not to take a hit because this is all book. The dealer is supposed to bust.
Now the dealer flips the hole card and shows an ace or something ridiculous like that. Dealer makes the hand and everybody loses. If this is happening too often, you better not sit on that table ever. See the flow of cards will be the same even after shuffling. I tried shuffling a 6 deck card like that and it did not change a bit. The only time it may change is that if they get a new deck of cards. But they only do this when the table is losing.
# 2 Scenario > Dealer shows a strong card - ( 9,10 or Ace ). Players hands are lousy almost everyone hits and gets busted. Dealer flips the hole card and shows a low card. Too late players busted already.

NOTE : A given deck of cards will always have a certain personality. They are consistent no matter how the players play their hands, numerous shuffles and stuff.

On my next entry, I will discuss money management and a betting system that will be easy to understand. Oh my the card counters out there will not like this blog. By the way, I know how to count cards, and have applied them in real life. I would rather win without doing all that work.

Start with a fresh empty mind. Before I talk about winning blackjack, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My internet name is Francis Arlante. I was born in the Philippines, had some college and then migrated in the USA in 1980. I started playing blackjack since I was 12 years old ( with real money). I know it's crazy but I did that and played with adults such as some government officials. I have seen many blackjack hands and card combinations the last 38 years. I am now 50 years old, studied and applied many advanced blackjack systems. I have had some success implementing such strategies. However, such systems dont work all the time. You cannot always play the same way. You could lose a lot of money using them at the wrong table. In this blog I will share everything I know about the game of blackjack. I will continously add my insights and systems as if you are taking a lesson from me. I will post on a weekly basis but that really depends on comments and the traffic I get. On my next entry, I will help you unlearn and learn some basics. This series of entries would be more beneficial if you already know what the books call "basic strategy". A losing strategy but it is important that you memorize it. Ok
